CEO NEWS & NOTES

Dr. Elaine Ruiz Lopez Ceo News

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Our New York State Report Card for 2012-2013 has been released and once again International Leadership Charter High School has received high marks!

I would like to thank all the members of our charter school community who have contributed to such high marks and positive outcomes on our NYS Report Card that reflects a 95% graduation rate and our outperformance of the city and state on all measures of accountability and performance.

These results are not accidental and reflect a deliberate plan that includes the consistent communication of high academic and behavioral expectations to all of our scholars by our faculty, staff, and parents. The investment that we have made in the success of each of our scholars is further evidenced by the fact that our 5th cohort of scholars will be attending the college of their choice in the Fall of 2014. It is this clear and deliberate vision for preparation combined with the opportunity, which opens the door of greatness and a world of possibility for the Kwasis in our school community (Read more). Kwasi Enin, a young man from a New York high school born to Ghanaian parents, was accepted to all 8 Ivy League Colleges. He selected Yale University as his Ivy League College of Choice.
