In accordance with the Commissioner’s Regulation Section 119.5(b) - Charter School Lotteries
Amendments require charter schools to provide notice on their website of the date, time and place of lotteries for the random selection process for charter school student applicants if such lottery is provided during a school closure ordered pursuant to an Executive Order of the Governor. Additionally, amendments to the regulations will permit these lotteries to be held remotely, provided that the public has the opportunity to view or listen and such lottery is recorded and later transcribed.

De acuerdo con la Sección 119.5 (b) del Reglamento del Comisionado - Loterías de escuelas chárter
Las enmiendas requieren que las escuelas chárter notifiquen en su sitio web la fecha, la hora y el lugar de las loterías para el proceso de selección aleatoria para los solicitantes de estudiantes de las escuelas chárter si dicha lotería se proporciona durante un cierre de la escuela ordenado de conformidad con una Orden Ejecutiva del Gobernador. Además, las enmiendas a las regulaciones permitirán que estas loterías se realicen de forma remota, siempre que el público tenga la oportunidad de ver o escuchar y dicha lotería se grabe y luego se transcriba.
