History

The International Leadership Charter School (ILCS) was authorized as a charter school by the NYC Chancellor and the NYS Board of Regents on January 9, 2006. ILCS opened its doors to 88 students for the first time on September 11, 2006. The International Leadership Charter School (ILCS) is the first 9-12 public charter high school in The Bronx. ILCS is an academically rigorous college preparatory high school dedicated to the acceleration of academic success and development of leadership among our youth in New York City. Our school is located in a non-public school building in the Marble Hill section of The Bronx.
